2025-26 Theatre Season
Three Great Shows!
This year Oak Ridge Theatre will produce a fall play, a spring musical, and a late spring production--our Healy One Act Festival. All of our shows feature student performers and technical artists and are staged in our Oak Ridge Theatre. Ticket links are posted a month before shows open. Advance ticket purchase is recommended as shows often sell out.

Fall Play
Twelve Angry Jurors
Based on the Emmy Award-Winning television movie by Reginald Rose. Adapted for the stage by Sherman L. Sergel.
12 Angry Jurors is a play that contemplates the huge responsibility of 12 ordinary people as they deliberate the fate of a teenager accused of murder. It looks like an open-and-shut case—until one of the jurors casts doubts and challenges a deeper examination of the facts. In the sweltering jury room, the 12 jurors grapple with their own histories, prejudices, and biases as they work through this life-or-death decision. Tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and the jurors become 12 angry jurors. The jurors’ final verdict and how they reach it will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Sping Musical
Chicago
"Chicago: Teen Edition" is a musical about Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her lover and manipulates the media to become a celebrity while on trial. She competes with another "Merry Murderess," Velma Kelly, for the attention of a slick lawyer and the public's favor. The story, set in 1920s Chicago, explores themes of fame, corruption, and the pursuit of the "American Dream"

Healy One Act Festival
In honor of John P. Healy Jr., Oak Ridge hosts three nights of one act play performances each spring, directed and performed by drama students. Ticket sales benefit the Healy Scholarship fund.
